Research Interests

Ruba is a PhD student in Bioscience and a member of the Flexible Systems group at KAUST. She is currently interested in utilizing omics platforms to link microbiology and water desalination processes. Her previous work focused on applying metabolomics techniques as well as developing and optimizing extraction protocols for a variety of samples. The main analytical platforms used in her research are NMR, GC- & LC-MS.
